Every October, we recognize National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) in the United States (called Disability Employment Awareness Month (DEAM) in Canada). This month celebrates the contributions of people with disabilities in the workplace and society, while underscoring the importance of creating accessible environments where everyone can thrive.
At Magnusmode, our mission is to create an accessible world – one where inclusion isn’t an exception, it’s the expectation. We’re removing barriers to independence and participation so that people with cognitive disabilities and neurodivergent individuals can have their talents seen, supported, and welcomed.
Each of our products – MagnusCards, MagnusTeams fr, and MagnusLearn – focuses on a different part of the inclusion journey.

MagnusCards: a mobile app that uses branded step-by-step guides that help people, including those with disabilities, to confidently navigate home, work, and community life.

MagnusTeams: a web dashboard that connects employers, caregivers, and other support professionals to create tools that make inclusion work in real life.

MagnusLearn: a disability empathy eLearning course that helps teams understand what inclusion really means and how to better create accessible experiences for their customers. Together, they all work towards the same goal: making accessibility practical, sustainable, and meaningful in everyday life.

What is MagnusCards?
For many, even routine tasks can feel uncertain or overwhelming. MagnusCards brings support and reassurance right into the palm of their hand.
Our free app uses digital “MagnusCards” to guide users through everyday tasks at work, in the community, and at home. From navigating public transit to using banking services to preparing for a workplace meeting, MagnusCards makes daily experiences less overwhelming and more empowering.
For employers, MagnusCards offers a tangible way to show their support for inclusion. As one of our Inclusion Partners, they can create branded MagnusCards that make their workplaces and services more accessible for everyone, including their neurodivergent employees, customers, and community members.
What is MagnusLearn?
Many teams want to be inclusive but lack the tools to understand what that truly means in practice. MagnusLearn, our disability empathy and accessibility training solution, bridges that gap.
MagnusLearn is designed to build your team’s awareness and confidence around accessibility and inclusion through short, engaging training modules. Each module combines practical lessons with real experiences, offering an approach that is practical, relatable, and actionable.
The result is more empathetic customer service, as well as a workplace rooted in respect and understanding.
What is MagnusTeams?
For caregivers, employers, and other professionals, striking a balance between independence and the need for support can be a challenging task. MagnusTeams makes that balance possible.
With MagnusTeams, support teams can develop, share, and manage MagnusCards tailored to specific needs, helping neurodiverse people get the consistent support they need to thrive. For caregivers, it creates a vital connection point and ensures continuous support.
In the workplace, MagnusTeams supports job coaching and onboarding for employees with disabilities, from preparing for their first day to practicing workplace routines. Employers can more easily hire and retain neurodiverse employees because they have the resources and confidence to succeed.
Why This Matters?
Accessibility begins with awareness, but it takes action to make inclusion real. Inclusive workplaces are not created by chance – they require tools, training, and commitment.
Products like MagnusCards, MagnusLearn, and MagnusTeams provide a strong foundation for:
Accessibility: Removing barriers to enable everyone to contribute fully.
Equity: Ensuring neurodivergent employees receive the support they need.
Empowerment: Celebrating the skills and talents of individuals with disabilities.
Education: Building empathy and understanding across teams and organizations.
For employers, accessibility and inclusion go beyond compliance. They unlock new talent, innovation, and perspectives that strengthen their organizations and communities.
Moving Forward Together
While we celebrate National Disability Awareness Month this October, let’s recognize that inclusion is not a one-month commitment, but a year-round responsibility.
At Magnusmode, we’re proud to partner with organizations that are taking real steps to build workplaces where everyone belongs. Together, through tools like MagnusCards, MagnusLearn, and MagnusTeams, we can be part of a moment that ensures inclusion and empowerment are not only celebrated in October but lived every day.
