Magnusmode, a leader in digital accessibility solutions, has introduced a new web-based platform called MagnusTeams. This innovative tool is designed to help employers and caregivers provide personalized support to neurodivergent individuals, such as those with autism, ADHD, and Down syndrome, in both work and daily life.
Backed by M&T Bank, which has been a long-term supporter of Magnusmode, the platform aims to foster greater independence for neurodivergent individuals while allowing managers and caregivers to offer tailored, remote support. This tool expands on Magnusmode’s existing mobile app, MagnusCards, which provides step-by-step visual guides (called Card Decks) to help individuals navigate daily tasks and activities. With MagnusTeams, caregivers and employers can create custom Card Decks, schedule activities, and offer continuous encouragement—all in any language.
MagnusTeams was developed in response to user feedback from MagnusCards, with many requesting a platform that allows for custom Card Decks with personalized content. M&T Bank’s involvement helped accelerate the development, with the bank having previously collaborated with Magnusmode to create accessible banking guides.
The need for such tools is significant: between 60-70% of neurodivergent individuals face unemployment or underemployment, largely due to environments that aren’t tailored to their needs. MagnusTeams bridges this gap by offering inclusive solutions for job training, schedule management, and on-the-job support, all aimed at improving workplace accessibility and fostering independence.
M&T Bank has been an essential partner in Magnusmode’s mission to make everyday experiences more accessible. Their ongoing sponsorship reflects their commitment to enhancing inclusivity in both the workplace and the wider community.
